You may not be aware of it, but there is a LOT of bacteria on your skin, however, most of them are good for you. Some have beneficial functions, whereas the others just take up the space that otherwise would be occupied by “bad” germs.
Even with all those “good and positive” bacteria on your skin, there are harmful bacteria that can stick on you. When you don’t take shower regularly you are increasing those chances.
When touching your skin with dirty hands, you are increasing the chance of harmful genes to enter your body. The usual ways that the germs are entering your body are through your mouth, nose and your eyes – dirty hands leads to getting you sick.
Besides getting you sick, some bacteria (together with fungi) could cause your serious skin infections. Imagine what will happen if you’re susceptible to bacteria and you don’t bathe for even two days.
